Anyone reading this blog, please PRAY FOR ME! :D

Easter Monday

It was Easter Monday yesterday. Reluctant to stay at home with such a wonderful weather. So Esther, Wina and myself decided to make a trip to Hatfield to visit Stella. Our initial plan was to go Galleria (a big retail shopping centre) and probably watch Scary Movie 4. Better plan came along, we would have a picnic at St. Alban Cathedral ... opps, not at the cathedral, but the lake and park area behind the building. So, we went to ASDA to shop for food :D

It was really a great day for picnic! As expected, the park was flooded with people. For us, we were sooo sooo happy, cause after so many months of 'misery-indoor-life', we can finally be 'set-free'. We found a spot and sat down .. and started eating crips ... eating Tiramisu .... eating strawberries ... eating cup cakes ... while others were strolling around the lake, playing some sports! :P

After stuffing down the food, we decided to take plenty of photos! It was a great afternoon.

Just as we were thinking it's such a great day for BBQ, Yanti called and told us that the intended K2 dinner will now be a Korean BBQ! Haha .. dream comes true!

Taken a lot of photos and videos as well.

In the end, our cute Candy came out an idea of "Easter-Egg-Breaking-Using-Cucumber"

Already looking forward to the coming weekend, picnic at Hamstead Heath! (Not forgetting Arsenal vs Tottenham showdown .... BIG BIG match for the Gunners!!)

By the way .... I'm gonna attend 2 steamboats dinner at 2 Care Groups this week! Feasting week eh! Will watch my weight! :P

Easter Camp 06 - Riches in Christ

After almost a month of absent, I'm back in blogging.

2 weeks ago was the Easter Camp, and about 100 people joined the camp. I was held in Newtown, Mid-Wales, a really pleasant country side. It was a great breakaway for all of us from the CITY :D We stayed in caravan, which has been made into visitors accommodation. It's not only a few, but 20+ of them!

We have teachings, praise & worship, meals, games, devotion ... and free time to enjoy the scenery. And on Sunday, it SNOWED! Yes, in April, we still can see snow! Enjoyed some snow fight, but miss the chance to slide down from the snowy slope.

I guess I have been pampered so much by the camps and conferences back home, that I feel the lack of powerful and inspiring teachings. And as I shared, it always brings me back to the good old time in Hope JB and Hope Kuching, where my faith has grown and matured. Nevertheless, I was able to enjoy the fellowship of brothers and sisters.

Do check out the church official Easter Camp website: www.hopelondon.org/eastercamp Amazing thing is, the site already start counting down for next year Easter Camp :P
